Compeer fundraiser COTGOS and Senisuara Women's A Cappella Choir

Date:
Sat, 17/08/2013 - 7:00pm

The Cafe is pleased to be performing in a concert to raise funds for Compeer.

Compeer, a special work of the St Vincent de Paul Society, is a mental health friendship program which matches volunteers in one-to-one friendship with someone who is isolated and living with a mental illness in their community. Friends meet regularly for simple social activities, such as grabbing a bite to eat or going for a walk. A Compeer friendship makes a big difference to the quality of life of someone who is isolated, and helps reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
