After a busy year of learning a wide range of contemporary songs, The Buds is excited to have the opportunity to present a 'nearly end of year' concert before we switch over to Christmas preparation. The concert will feature the songs that won us Honorable Mention in the prestigious Boroondara Eisteddfod and impressed the Victorian Folk Music Club during their A Cappella Night, as well as other pieces making their public debut.

Singing for the joy of it

The third night of our second season with four Sydney choirs singing for the joy of it at Marrickville Golf Club. In order of appearance starting at 7.30, The Sydney Trade Union Choir, Director Margot McLaughlin, El Coro, Director Margot McLaughlin, Voices from the Waters, Director Heather Engelbrecht and Voices from the Vacant Lot. Each choir will sing for about 25 minutes with a ten minute break between. Meals are available from the Bistro, Bar open, easy parking. Book a table, eat early, sit back and enjoy the singing.

Summer Concert - Phoenix Choir and Leura Singers

Blackheath Phoenix Choir and Leura Singers will combine for their last ever concert with retiring MD Walter Sutcliffe.
The concert will feature JS Bach's 'Peasant Cantata', followed by six short, seasonal works and conclude with the final movement of Handel's 'Messiah'.
