The ARIA award-winning, critically acclaimed a cappella ensemble The Idea of North have just released their 13th album Ballads, and will tour nationally in May. Founded in Canberra in 1993 the group comprises Sally Cameron (Soprano), Naomi Crellin (Alto), Nick Begbie (Tenor) and Andrew Piper (Bass). The Idea of North have had a long-held musical love affair with performing ballads, which allows them the opportunity to explore and indulge in the intricate harmonies for which the group has become renowned.
