Georges River Voices choir is a community choir for adults based in the St George area of Sydney. Our primary objective is to share with others the joy and power of singing together. An acapella choir, we sing a diverse range of repertoire, from contemporary, to jazz, classical and world music. We are a non-auditioned choir, welcoming singers of all abilities - our key requirement is enthusiasm and commitment! Georges River Voices Choir members aim to extend our musical knowledge and challenge ourselves to a high musical standard in a safe, inclusive environment.

Macquarie Singers - Free Singing Workshop

Macquarie Singers is hosting a FREE singing workshop – the last in our series for 2019 - and we’d love you to attend.

This time the focus will be on breath management and the workshop will include breathing exercises and workshopping different ways to manage your airflow when the music’s slow and the phrases are long.

No experience necessary!

Free Open Night - Monday 5 August 7:15pm-9:15pm - join in, learn some vocal exercises and basic four-part harmony technique, watch the chorus perform some current repertoire.

Australian Baha'i Choral Festival

This collection of beautiful traditional folk songs arranged by John Rutter includes the melodic ‘Afton Water’ and the lively Tyneside workers’ song, ‘The Keel Row’. This lovely work will be complemented by a program of other short musical pieces.
