Gee, What a Sound

The Woolltones community choir will hold their first concert
“Gee, What a Sound” on Saturday, 24th November 2018 at 5.30pm (doors open at 5.15 pm).
Soloists will be Lurelle Alefounder (Soprano) and Dewi Liu (Piano).

The venue is St Columba Church, corner Ocean and Forth Streets, Woollahra.

The event is free.

Donations will be collected on the day for
Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF)

Monday Nightingales

Now established for more than five years, The Monday Nightingales choir performs two concerts a year. Our next concert, 'WE ARE THE CHOIR', is scheduled for 4pm on Sunday 9th December 2018 at Ascham School.

We do not charge for our concerts but there will be a collection for the Australian Children's Music Foundation (ACMF)which provides access to music for underprivileged children.

Our Musical Director is the amazing Tanya Christensen who is an enthusiastic and experienced conductor and terrific teacher.

We rehearse in Paddington on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm.

Songs For Africa

St Columba Community Centre, Woollahra will hold a fund raising concert in support of three African schools located in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. 100% of ticket sales will be donated to the schools.

When: 15th September at 5.00 pm
Where: St Columba Community Centre, cnr Ocean and Forth Street, Woollahra.

Performers: Woollahra Philharmonic Orchestra, Bondi Sings, Jodi Rose Ballet, Pasko, Woolltones choir plus other talented solo performers

Armistice Concert - Phoenix Choir

Phoenix Choir are staging a special concert to mark the centenary of Armistice with a performances at:

Hoskins Memorial Uniting Church, Lithgow. Sunday 11th November at 3pm

For the major work for this concert we are performing Gabriel Fauré’s sublime Requiem Mass, with professional soloists, organ and instrumental group. As one of the most popular works in the choral repertoire, we hope that its soothing lyrical music and optimistic vision of paradise can bring a message of hope and peace.
