La La La

La La La is a group of about 25 singers under the musical direction of Paola Bastreri-Grey. We were set up in 1998 by Catrine Berlatier who wanted to share some of the songs she learned in France with her Australian friends. Since then we have slowly gained in confidence and ability and now tackle seven and eight part harmonies and pieces by Debussy, Berlioz, Faure and others.

Akappella Munda

Akappella munda is a choir that sings the usual 4 parts, and has a lot of fun doing so.

We rehearse in Kalamunda at the Town Square Community Hall (5 Barber street) opposite the post office on Saturday afternoons from 2:30 (3:30 on Market Days -1st Sat each month).

We perform around the Hills, and down on the flat at festivals and events (even at the airport over Christmas). Most years we get away to an intensive singing weekend (e.g. Denmark, Katanning).

Our Choirmaster, Digby Hill, leads us gently to raise our voices to the serene, but with bounce!
