Vocalescence Chorus

We are a female ensemble, specialising in both the contemporary and the Barbershop style of 4 part harmony singing. We are proud to be associated with the world’s largest singing organisation for women – SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL
Our winning combination is threefold. First, as individuals, our members all have a passion for personal excellence. Second, we choose cutting edge arrangements from some of the world’s top arrangers. Third, and most important, we have one of the most talented and knowledgeable directors in Australia, Andrew Howson.

Shades of Monday

Shades of Monday was founded in 2011 by Libby Oakes-Ash and under the Musical Direction if Nicole Nunan. After two years of auditions we now have a 20 voice mixed group of various musical backgrounds. We are quickly gathering a reputation in Canberra as a group to watch. We are keen to keep learning, growing and being stretched musically in directions we didn't think we could go:-) in 2014 we are keen to find a couple more basses and very interested in finding someone who can beat box.

The Honeybees

The Honeybees is a non-profit community choir established primarily for the purpose of promoting & encouraging a cappella singing - in particular, gospel music - in Australia.
We are not a religious choir, but are united in our love of the uplifting and passionate quality of the gospel genre. Our repertoire includes traditional gospel songs, as well as modern gospel-inspired numbers, which draw on related musical styles such as soul, R & B and jazz.
