Jewish Arts Inc. presents a celebration of multicultural music featuring choirs from diverse backgrounds, who will come together in song under the banner of "Tikkun Olam", a Hebrew term meaning ‘repair the world’.

Choirs from across Sydney will embody the power of music in spreading messages of hope on cross-cultural harmony, the environment and issues of social justice.

North Shore Temple Emanuel Choir, which sings at synagogue services, community concerts and interfaith events.

The Idea of North

The ARIA award-winning, critically acclaimed a cappella ensemble The Idea of North have just released their 13th album Ballads, and will tour nationally in May. Founded in Canberra in 1993 the group comprises Sally Cameron (Soprano), Naomi Crellin (Alto), Nick Begbie (Tenor) and Andrew Piper (Bass). The Idea of North have had a long-held musical love affair with performing ballads, which allows them the opportunity to explore and indulge in the intricate harmonies for which the group has become renowned.

Sing, Sing a Song – with the Ashton Smith Singers

The renowned Illumina Voices, directed by Deborah Munro is delighted to present "Can You Hear Me?"

This engaging and talented group of women will be singing a fantastic range of songs which are bound in to inspire everyone! Some well known songs such as "Mr Bojangles", "Streets of London", "On The Sunny Side of the Street" and two songs made famous by Simon and Garfunkel "Feeling Groovy" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water". The featured song, "Can You Hear Me?" is a very moving piece about the world of a hearing-impaired person.
