Willoughby Symphony Choir

Willoughby Symphony Choir is widely recognised as the region's finest community choir. Our choir exists under the auspices of Willoughby City Council and is partnered with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra with whom we perform regularly. Our repertoire comprises mainly classical works: oratorios, masses, requiems, operatic and symphonic works. As well as large-scale choral works, the Choir also performs a cappella and popular music.

Summer Hill Community Choir

The Summer Hill Community Choir is a fun opportunity for unexperienced and experienced community members to sing!

The choir has been actively rehearsing and performing, on and off, on a seasonal basis since 2014. They recently performed at the Summer Hill Folk Festival and sung two seasons of traditional Christmas Carols, a season of folk music and 60's soul music.

Sydney University Madrigal Society (MADS)

The Sydney University Madrigal Society is a small acappella choir. We focus on singing madrigals - essentially the pop music of the Renaissance and early Baroque period - secular, polyphonic, and unaccompanied. Imagine cheeky jokes and bad innuendos, except sung in harmony and with a straight face, if you can keep one. Every year we hold two concerts, usually in May and in October, and work hard on our repertoire of madrigals in rehearsals.

Pyrmont Sings!

We are a community choir of thirty to forty members, and we welcome anyone who enjoys singing and can hold a tune. We delight in the good fortune of highly professional directors and accompanists, licking us into shape. We perform locally at community events (such as the Pyrmont Festival of Food, Wine and Art, Christmas in Pyrmont, the Mustard Seed Carols and Live Nativity) and in nursing homes. Our repertoire varies, but usually includes light classics, jazz standards, songs from musicals and carols.

The Owls and the Pussycats

The Owls and the Pussycats

acapella choir

In search of love and adventure, the sublime and the ridiculous, we’re singing our way through life together.
Fair weather or storm, we are gathering songs for every occasion, for every life circumstance…songs to wonder at the magnificence of life on earth, songs to mourn love lost, songs of yearning for the humble cup o’tea.
Rowdy then tender, we embrace lifes infinite variety and share it in lush harmonies and emotive tunes.
