event will become biannual.
A “choir” comprises not less than 10 people nor more than 50, is a capella, and completely amateur. The
number of choirs is limited to 16, on a first come basis. Entry fee is $95 per person, and $85 for early birds.

The competition will ballot choirs into pools of four for a sing-off against each of the other 3 choirs in the
pool. The two highest scores move to the next ballot and the process is repeated through at least three
phases until only two choirs remain. A team of professional judges has been engaged.
Prize money for 2018 is, $5,000 ($10,000)* for first and $2,500 ($5,000)* for the runner-up. (* only if there
are sufficient entries to cover the higher figure)
The Milton-Ulladulla district south of Sydney is a very popular holiday spot, and is full of attractions of every
description. There are ample accommodation options available ranging from camping to four/five star. The
event will segue into Escape ArtFest, which in this, its 14th year, will be better than ever.
