Perfect 5th Community Choir

All voices welcome!

Perfect 5th choir is a community a cappella choir going back a decade which is now meeting at Marrickville Road Church hall under the directorship of Gemma Turner (Blindman’s Holiday, The Transylvaniacs). The group takes on a wide range of material, from world music to contemporary songwriters.
There is no audition for Perfect 5th. Its main focus is on singing for enjoyment which means that it can welcome singers of all types and levels of experience. However, the group also enjoys the occasional performance for good causes, community arts events, parties or otherwise for the fun of it!

Not sure if you want to join our choir? Not sure what kind of voice you have? Haven't sung in a while? Come to our Newcomers sessions in the hour before the main group start. The Newcomers sessions run for a few weeks every term to get you up to speed with the songs the group knows already so you can hit the ground running when you join the main group in a few weeks time.
Sessions 6.30-8pm Mondays Feb 6 - 20 if there is demand. Newcomers only runs when there is interest from new people so contact Gemma for queries and booking details.
