Sydney Trade Union Choir

The Sydney Trade Union Choir was founded in 1991 as an community choir with strong labour movement connections. Its members have included teachers, printers, waterside workers, builders, health/social workers, public servants, retirees, nurses. As current and retired union members, STUC members enjoy singing music that can support and inspire people engaged in struggles. Songs about workers rights, social justice/liberation, democratic & human rights, peace and the environment form the basis of the choir’s repertoire.
