The Embers women's community choir

We are a women's community choir - open to all women, no prior experience necessary. We are a relaxed, friendly group of women who enjoy both the social aspect of getting together each week as well as the endorphin-triggering delight of singing together in harmonies. The main kinds of songs we do are: world music; folk music; pop songs (e.g., from the '60s to the '80s); and peace-themed songs. All of our repertoire is a cappella, mostly in 3-part harmony, and ranges from easy rounds, to more interesting arrangements that take longer to learn but offer the thrill of a challenge and the satisfaction of the achievement of something special.

Every Saturday afternoon during school terms, 3pm till 5pm.

The back of the downstairs level of "Women's House" via driveway, 15 Morrissey St, Woolloongabba.

$15 per week casual payment; or $120 upfront per 10-week term.
Free the first time you visit, to see if it's your kind of choir.
